LABOR / MANAGEMENT PARTNERSHIP



FMCS issued a grant to Rhode Island State Government and the major labor unions. Be sure and visit this site to find out more about FMCS. FMCS is the source of labor/management grants; you may want to apply and find out how.

The five objectives of the FMCS grant award are:

    1. Achieving Diversity in the state government workforce
    2. Strengthening communications between management and labor in the workplace
    3. Identifying funding sources (to continue the labor management committee and build on our success beyond grant end date of September 30, 2004)
    4. Improving the image of state employees and state government in the public eye
    5. Capturing knowledge through inclusive succession planning

DIVERSITY AMBASSADORSHIP PROJECT

The RI State Ambassadorship Project has officially transitioned to nonprofit status in the private sector. Be sure and visit their links:

PROJECT MILITARY RECRUIT
